Go Big or Go Home!

I’m not big on New Year’s Resolutions, but this year, I’m making some changes. My theme for the year is Go Big or Go home and I don’t plan to go home.  I’m digging in and rolling out some of my biggest goals yet. This is my announcement of what I intend to do this year. Accountability is key, so I’m going to lay them out here. Everything I do will be working toward these Go Big goals.

Go Big with Free books

Between January 1st and December 31st I plan to give away 240,000 books.  For free! I’ve combined the first three books in my Fogoyle Series and published it.  It will remain free all year long. I’ve created a sign-up link so you can get the 3 stories immediately, and get notified as soon as the other free books I’ll be giving away monthly are available.

I’m counting books given away as prizes, gifts, swag packages, and just for shits and giggles.  If you have a birthday and I’m aware of it, you could be getting a free book! It’s mostly going to be digital copies, but there will be a few paperbacks in there, so sign up at https://christy_150f.gr8.com/ and get to know my writing for free! The next free book will be announced in the January 25th blog post, so keep an eye out for that.

Go Big with New Books

You see that right. I’m going to write and publish 30 books in 2019.  I came across a challenge to write 12 Books in 12 Months, and I joined it.  I write mostly short stories, so to hit the 40,000 word count required for the challenge, I’m going to knock out two short stories a month and apply the rest toward novels that I’ll put out every few months. Big releases are scheduled for January, April, July, October, and December.  I’m also writing a monthly Holiday Horror Short Story that is exclusive to newsletter followers that will go out the last Thursday of the month. Sign up to get creeped out monthly so you don’t miss a single one of those.  They are going to be horrifying!

It’s a lot of work and I’m going to need a lot of encouragement to keep it going. You can provide that encouragement by joining my Fogoyle Fan Facebook group (after you download and read the books, you are gonna be a fan, so join the group) and submitting photos and story ideas that not just keep me going, but move the Fogoyle Series forward as well. You can even become the MC in a story!  The details are in the pinned post. I currently need 9 more covers just to finish out the stories for the year.

Go Big with a New Project

I’m rolling out a charitable project this year. It’s called the Life On Your Terms Project. I’m building it to help make living your life on your terms possible for more people. It’s my way of giving back and paying it forward at the same time.  You can read more about it here, follow it on Patreon, and order products produced exclusively for the project at the Swag Shop.

I’m looking for candidates, so if you want to live life on your terms, read through the posts on the Patreon page for details on how to possibly become a recipient of a gift from the Life On Your Terms Project.

What are your Go Big or Go Home plans for 2019 and how can I help you achieve them?  Let me know in the comments!

Happy Writing!
